Delivery & payment
If you’re buying at the shop you can pay by cash, Visa or Mastercard, while orders placed via phone or email can be paid by Visa, Mastercard or direct bank deposit.
DELIVERY OPTIONS
We now have daytime and evening delivery options for the Auckland area, as below:
AUCKLAND METROPOLITAN DELIVERY AREA
We can deliver within the Auckland Metropolitan Delivery Area either during the day (weekdays only) (Bespoke to You Couriers) or we also have evening deliveries available Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights (Urgent Couriers). Daytime deliveries are made by 3pm in the afternoon and must be ordered by 1pm the DAY BEFORE. Evening deliveries are made between 6 and 9.30pm and must be ordered by 12 midday on the SAME DAY. Delivery fee for either evening or daytime deliveries is $16. 50 - no charge for orders over $300)
NORTH SHORE ‘LOCAL TO US’ DAY TIME DELIVERIES - NEW!!
We now have a ‘local to Casual Foodie’ daytime delivery service weekdays for only $10. (Bespoke To You Couriers) Ordering must be placed by the day before as above. Our ‘local’ areas are: Birkenhead, Glenfield, Northcote, Birkdale, Beachhaven, Wairau Valley, Takapuna, Milford, Sunnynook, Rosedale, Forrest Hill, Hillcrest.
AUCKLAND OUTER ZONES DELIVERY AREA
Weekday deliveries (Bespoke To You Couriers) also available now to some outer zone areas for $23.50 (no charge for deliveries over $350). They are: Silverdale, Orewa, Whangaparoa, Stanmore Bay, Red Beach, Karaka, Waimauku, Waitakare, Takanini, Flat Bush, Manurewa. Deliveries to rural areas not available sorry.
IF YOU HAVE A NON RURAL ADDRESS THAT IS NOT INCLUDED ABOVE, PLEASE CALL US - WE MAY HAVE A SOLUTION.
Meal sizes
Our prepared main dishes come in single and double serve sizes, with family size (serves 4) available also with some of our menu items. Our ‘mains’ come unaccompanied (no veg, rice, mash, salad etc), leaving you free to choose your own sides. Though we’re pretty generous with our portions, we’re aware that people have varying appetites. Give us a call if you’re unsure how much to order.
We also have a range of ready to ‘heat and eat’ microwave meals for one person. These are complete meals with the main protein and vegetable sides. These change each week, so it’s best to check in with us by email or phone so we can advise what’s currently in stock.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
At Casual Foodie we make seriously good food from scratch, with real ingredients you can find in your own pantry. We don’t count calories, nor do we specialise in low-sugar, low-carb or low-fat meals. We do, however, have gluten, dairy and meat-free options scattered throughout our menu.
GIFTING & CARE PACKAGES
Our meals and baking make thoughtful gifts. New baby, a bereavement, elderly parent or neighbour, even a uni-student care package - order some meals for anyone finding it difficult to get dinner on the table and we will organise delivery straight to their door. Check out our delivery areas on our info & FAQs page. We also create bespoke gift boxes and hampers filled with delicious home-baking, chutneys and preserves. And if you are stuck for time or ideas, why not give a gift voucher so friends and family can choose their own favourite meals and treats. Call us for personalised help on this, and we will have you sorted in no time, to suit your budget.

Gift Ordering
See below for many options and if you’re stuck for solutions, just give us a call and we will help with options to suit your recipients, and your budget! We can even have your order made up and ready for you to collect at a time to suit you, saving you time.
Business & Corporate Orders
If you would like to place an order for your business or company - call us for assistance and quotes. Concessions will apply for larger orders. We can also ensure your gift orders are arranged and organised so you can just collect on a nominated day, or have them delivered.
Nikki’s Xmas Mince Tarts
With a new workspace added on this year, we will have room for Nikki to produce her incomparable and famous Xmas Mince Tarts. These will be available from 1 December as follows, and limited in supply so pre order where possible.
$2.80 each/$32 bakers dozen (13) - these can be packed in sturdy recyclable containers to be kept in your own fridge or in your own containers if you bring them along. We will also have them available in a ribboned gift pack of 6 - $17.50
Boxed & Ribboned Sweet Treats
You can see these in the pic above. A small thoughtful gift for a friend or relative, an ideal hostess or teacher gift. Can also be added with our other goodies to hampers and gift bags.

Gift Vouchers
Along with the lists of treats and edible goodies, we are able to issue either hard copy or e-gift vouchers to include with your hampers or bags, or as a stand alone Xmas Gift. It is not feasible to include frozen food in our hampers so this way the recipient can still enjoy a ready cooked meal or two over the holidays.
Gift Hampers and Bags
Every year we have a large variety of packaging options for our Xmas season. We can custom build bags and hampers to suit you and the recipients, or you can just give us your budget and we’ll go ahead and come up with some options for you to choose from.
CATERING
We provide delicious and cost-effective catering solutions for dinner parties and small functions. Our meals, salads and desserts can even be presented in your own serve-ware so no one has to know!
Create your own simple but beautiful grazing platters with our collection of nibbles including the best chicken liver pate in town, sticky onion jam and our famous smoked mackerel dip.
Promised you’ll bring dessert? No need to stress. Consider our amazingly authentic tiramisu, or family friendly sticky date pudding. Though be warned, you may not want to share!
We also specialise in providing bulk meals for sports teams, perfect for after-match functions or tournaments away. Our traditional favourites such as lasagne and macaroni cheese take the hassle out of menu-planning and are always loved by even the fussiest kids on tour!

Packaging
Meal trays can be recycled in your weekly kerbside recycle collection bins. The film should be removed and they must be cleaned first.
Our soups and some desserts are packaged in reusable and recyclable plastics. Once cleaned they can be re-used for many purposes including freezing leftovers. They can also be put in your kerbside recycle collection.
